Science Fair Friday is an opportunity for students to perform simple science demonstrations in front of the class.
Students are required to sign up for one Friday in each of the first two trimesters. Students may work alone or with a partner.
Students can find simple science demos online, in books in Ms. Buckley's classroom, in books from the library, etc.
Demos can be very simple and inexpensive. Steve Spangler Science is an excellent online resource for demos.

Many demos can be done with materials found around the house, or check with me to see if I have the resources needed.
Do not think that a demo must be complicated or expensive to get full credit! Sometimes the simplest demos have the most impact.
Students must get their demo approved by Ms. Buckley at least a week before the demo date. Demos that are
in any way risky, or dangerous will not be allowed. Along with the demo, students will submit a write-up describing
their demo and the scientific principles that allow it to work. Demos and their write-ups are worth 25 points.
Please encourage your students to have fun, be creative, and don't wait until the last minute! :)
